Beach TV

Former Dartmouth defensive back JB Andreassi (center)

From the description of the new Netflix reality TV series Million Dollar Beach House: "The competition is fierce as a group of young and hungry agents try to steal the deal on luxury listings in the Hamptons."

Joining Ben Koldyke '91, Brian White '95 and Malcolm Freberg '09 in making the move from  the Dartmouth football field to television is former corner JB Andreassi '12, a four-year letterwinner at cornerback.

From a Newsday story about the "cast" (LINK):

JB Andreassi, a Dartmouth football standout and Water Mill native who has returned home after a brokerage career in Manhattan to work with Michael, his close friend since high school.

Per the Newsday story:

What gets made in "Million Dollar Beach House" are deals, or at least the schmooze that goes into making them.

EXTRA POINT

We head off in our VW bus at 0-dark-30 tomorrow with hopes of making it to central Pennsylvania. Historically underpowered, our '84 poptop camper can reach 65 mph when it gets going but you don't want to be behind us on hills. Given the rain in the forecast we'll have to see how far we make it before we call it a day.

There's a loose association of VW people featuring a listing of owners of the iconic vehicles who will allow others to park in their driveways. We've touched base with someone in Pennsylvania who has room for us to spend the night in his driveway. But again, we'll have to see how far we get on Day One of our trip to Colorado via a stop in Indiana.

A reminder that BGA Daily postings may be a little spotty over our three-week trip. A lot will depend on whether we can find WiFi and if I have enough time when we are in range of the Internet to actually dig up something to post. And, while I am mentally knocking on wood as I type this, it may also depend on how the VW is performing . . .
