Mr. Versatility

With Baylor University wrapping up spring practice former Dartmouth wide receiver Drew Estrada '20 is getting kudos. From a story in the Waco Tribune-Herald (LINK):

"I expect Drew to be a major contributor for us this year,” (wide receivers coach Chansi) Stuckey said. “We got to see what he can do. He can play all three (receiver) positions, which is critical. He’s extremely smart, very savvy in his route running.”

And more from Stuckey on the Baylor football website (LINK):

"We've just got to get him back on the field. That's the biggest thing for him, just staying healthy and being able to contribute the way he can."

Green Alert Take: The headline in the Waco newspaper story is Versatility key for Baylor receivers and as anyone who watched Estrada in a Dartmouth uniform knows "versatility" could be his middle name ;-)

EXTRA POINT
The weather finally cooperated and we were able to get the '84 VW poptop camper to the "bus whisperer" up by Lake Champlain yesterday afternoon.

OK, cooperate may be too strong a word.

While the snow that twice postponed our 90-minute drive stayed away, the wind did not. It's fair to say wind can make driving the Vanagon – referred to as a "brick" by aficionados because of its less-than-streamlined profile – a little challenging and gusts yesterday topped 30 mph. But we made it and should have it back in a week or two.

And no, we didn't drive it with the top popped ;-)
