EXTRA POINT

A year ago around this time I was posting pictures of the grass in our yard dying from the scorching sun and a lack of rain. That has not been a problem this summer. Quite the opposite. Even when there's a patch of blue in the sky it seems only a matter of time until it clouds over and we get more rain.

Here's hoping when fall arrives we have some dry Saturday afternoons (and Friday nights) because weekends without rain have been a rarity this summer.
