Another Dartmouth thought from Princeton coach Bob Surace in the Daily Princetonian preview of the Tigers' game against Yale (LINK):

“At the end of the day, our competitors fought hard and gave a great effort and we didn’t. We weren’t quite as detailed as we needed to be and it showed. You know, the disappointing part was not being able to execute things we practiced as well as we should have. And against a team like that, even if you’re just a tiny bit off, they expose you. And that’s what happened in that game.”

EXTRA POINT
It used to be I'd get back from my morning hike, turn on the Today Show and watch the first 15 minutes or so to catch up on the overnight news before digging into BGA Daily. These days it's much more calming to keep the idiot box turned off and simply look out the window. This is the view out our living room window this morning of New Hampshire's White Mountains across the fog-encased Connecticut River. Click the photo to enlarge it.
