On Friday night Dartmouth offensive linemen JP Flores and Jake Guidone had the chance to see the kind of game they never had the chance to play in on a recruiting trip to James Madison University. The pair saw the Dukes defeat Montana, 28-6.

Guidone also took a visit to Connecticut where he dressed in a UConn uniform and was photographed with offensive line coach Gordon Sammis (left) and Nick Charlton, the Hukies' assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

EXTRA POINT
Those news stories about Christmas tree being in short supply and expensive this year? Check and check. We hit two of our normal tree haunts yesterday and one had a pretty sickly collection while the other was closed (ostensibly for the season).
We ended up beating it down to Lyme, N.H., where each year when the kids were little we'd pull a sled through the snow and I'd get down on the ground (until That Certain Penn State '16 took over) sawing through the trunk until the tree toppled. When we arrived at the tree farm we quickly found a beauty that had already been cut and was leaning against a rack, but because one of us decided the grass is always greener we headed into the field of trees to attempt to find one that was even nicer. When we weren't able to find a better tree we headed back to the rack – with the one of us who had suggested looking around keeping fingers crossed the original tree was still there. To MY relief, it was.
But yikes, was it expensive.
