Following up on yesterday's BGA Daily note about former Dartmouth assistant Callie Brownson, the Cleveland Browns website has a story headlined, Callie Brownson thankful for 'incredible opportunity' to coach USA Football. From the story (LINK):
Brownson, the Browns' Chief of Staff, was named Thursday by USA Football as the head coach of the 2022 U.S. Women's Tackle National Football Team, which will compete at the 2022 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Women's Tackle World Championship in Vantaa, Finland, from July 27-Aug. 8. She earned the opportunity after spending the last four years as a coach with Dartmouth (2018), the Buffalo Bills (2019) and the Browns (2020-present) and expects the coaching gig to help extend her coaching career, one highlighted by several trailblazing moments for women in football, to even greater heights.

The top four seeds in the 2021 NCAA Tournament are all led in part by a member of Clark’s tree and have advanced to the quarterfinals.
Green Alert Take: I was working in Dartmouth sports information when Bobby interviewed for the college's head coaching job. I was on a committee that interviewed him and if the truth be told, it was more of a courtesy interview than anything else. At least it was until we started listening to the man in front of us. When the interview was over there wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind that not only had we just met the new Dartmouth soccer coach, but that he was going to be a success. Little did we know just how much of a success, in Hanover, at Dartmouth and across the country. When he was leaving to coach the New Zealand national team there was a community reception in Leede Arena for the beloved coach that was absolutely packed and not many dry eyes in the crowd.
Green Alert Take II: Only after Bobby was hired did I come to realize just how big a national hero he was back home in Scotland, where he once held "the world record or not conceding a goal in consecutive, all-competition matches at 1,155 minutes." During the interview he never even once did he mention that he played the game at an elite level.
Green Alert Take III: Clark was hired at Dartmouth after being spurned by another Ivy League school. Clark led the Big Green to three Ivy League titles and four consecutive seasons in the national top-10.
