A new name has finally bubbled up on the Dartmouth recruiting front. Add to the list of players announcing that they are coming to Hanover next fall the name of Vasean Washington, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive lineman from Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio. He Tweeted his intentions HERE.
Washington was selected to the Greater Western Ohio Conference first team, the Southwest Ohio District second team and all-state honorable mention. His Twitter reports an offer from Arkansas Pine Bluff. In addition to football, he plays basketball and throws the weights.
Find his highlights HERE.

The Muskogee Phoenix has an update about three fighters from its part of Oklahoma – including a former Dartmouth wide receiver that includes this (LINK):
Victor Williams takes a 3-0 record, all with knockouts, against Taylor Mozingo as part of a Feb. 19 card at Live Casino in Hanover, Maryland. It’s part of an undercard featuring a WBC and USNBC Junior Lightweight Title.
And . . .
After a career of mostly quarterback at Muskogee, he played receiver at Dartmouth, and with that prestigious education, went into cyber security sales as a regional manager in the Washington D.C. area. Probably could have done a lot of other things with those college skins as well.
It’s not a bad dime for that kind of work. But that wasn’t his dream.
Williams wanted to pursue boxing. He owns and operates a boxing facility which also specializes in fitness and nutrition.
