A Daily Progress story about John Paul Flores' decision to grad transfer from Dartmouth to Virginia explains part of his thinking (LINK):
He aspires to reach the NFL, and John Paul Flores said his best chance to do so is by spending his final two seasons of college football at Virginia.
And . . .
“That was huge for me,” he said, “with having the end goal in mind. The league is the end goal and that’s why I decided to transfer from Dartmouth to go to a bigger school to play against a little bit better competition. Hopefully, I’ll develop more and set myself up for the future.”
And . . .
“Having the opportunity to block for a first- or second-round guy next year,” Flores said, “and just having eyes on you constantly helps. And giving (Brennan Armstrong) good protection and everyone else they have at the skill positions the time and the area they need to work to showcase their skills is a huge bonus.”

Dartmouth corner Isaiah Johnson, who like Flores had the option to return next fall, is taking an official visit this weekend to Syracuse. That's mentioned in THIS story.

Old friend Chris Wilkerson, who relinquished his role as Dartmouth's assistant head coach to run the show at the University of Chicago, was the lead sports story on the evening news after being named head coach at Eastern Illinois, his alma mater. Watch HERE.

Incoming Dartmouth receiver Grayson O'Bara has been named to the Denton Record-Chronicle 2021 All-Area Football Team. From the story (LINK):
O’Bara proved himself to be the go-to receiver for Jackson Arnold during Guyer’s run to the state title game. The Dartmouth commit compiled 1,043 yards and eight touchdowns on 80 catches.

Facilities at Pioneer Football League schools Valparaiso, Butler and Marist don't quite compare to those in the CAA. Here's the latest from the wacky Wide World of Stadiums guy who earlier looked at the Ivy League stadiums HERE.
Forecast both here on our Vermont hillside and down in Hanover: 1-3 inches of snow. Forecast in Boston (read: Logan Airport): 18-to-24 inches with localized 30 inches possible.
