He’s currently working alongside defensive lineman Seth Walter, linebacker Jalen Mackie, and cornerback Isaiah Johnson twice-a-day with Director of Strength and Conditioning Spencer Brown.
“The mornings are specific to speed, agility, and pro day drills, while the afternoons are devoted to strength training,” he said. “Tuesdays and Thursdays are specifically mobility and recovery, with an overall heightened importance on staying healthy. Jalen and Isiah are currently grad transferring to UMASS and Syracuse respectively, so most nights are spent with Seth Walter watching NFL film and building better conceptions of NFL style defenses.”
The story reports that Dartmouth's Pro Day is slated for April 5.

And the first Dartmouth opponent to start spring football is . . . drum roll please . . . the University of New Hampshire. The Big Green's cross-state rival has a blurb about kicking off spring ball last week under new coach Ricky Santos HERE. The story notes the Wildcats will hold their spring game on April 14 and explains the decision to move practice up by about a half a month this year was made both because it will allow the coaches to hit the road when the spring recruiting period begins in the middle of April, and because the UNH program is going to emphasize strength training in the weeks after spring football wraps up.

EXTRA POINT
While it's only 1.4 miles from our house to the West Newbury, Vt., post office it can be a pain picking up the mail this time of year when our dirt road starts to take on the consistency of oatmeal. Because they don't deliver mail on our part of the road, we have no choice but to get a box at our tiny post office, which more than likely is smaller than any room in your house.
Now as I said, it's a bit of a pain sometimes going to fetch the mail but it can occasionally be rewarding. Earlier this week someone apparently got a package through the mail and decided to share the contents with their neighbors, leaving a couple dozen or so Ghirardelli chocolate squares on the counter. Never one to walk away from dark chocolate, I scooped several up and shared them that evening with Mrs. BGA.
I have to admit, I was shocked when I picked up the mail yesterday and most of the chocolate treats were still there. This time I grabbed several sea salt, caramel-filled squares.
I'm not anticipating that there will still be chocolates left today when I collect the mail after my hike, but it wouldn't surprise me. I could be wrong but I can't imagine there are many places in the country where anything that delectable would last that long.
