The transfer portal is starting to feel more and more like a whack-a-mole deal. Whispers earlier in the week suggested a Dartmouth player or two might be coming out of the transfer portal and then I stumble across this about someone else going into it, posted Tuesday:
In case that's hard to read, it's from defensive end Mick Reese's Twitter account (LINK), and it says:
I would like to thank Dartmouth football for the opportunity to play college football and the coaching staff who helped me become a better player over the last few years. With that said, I have entered my name in the transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Reese had 17 tackles (4.5 for a loss), two sacks, two quarterback hurries, two breakups and, as one BGA reader likes to point out, the best hair on the Dartmouth team the last few years. Find his bio HERE.
Here are his highlights:

Speaking of Dartmouth linemen, this Tweet featuring the Brothers Flores sent me off to check out "Trench University DFW:"

Trench University DFW, whose catchphrase is "Train To Dominate," was founded by former Dartmouth lineman Jacob Flores '16 (left in photo abvove), older brother of Virginia-bound lineman John Paul Flores '22 (64) and Michael Flores '23 (65). Brother Charlie Flores played at Columbia.
Jacob Flores started 29 games at Dartmouth, earning first team All-Ivy League and All-New England honors spending a year that saw him spend time with the Green Bay Packers' practice squad and sign a reserve/future contract before ultimately being cut. (LINK)
Flores' day job is as a territory manager at Getinge, a global medical technology company.

EXTRA POINT
The forecast all week has been heavy snow today and it is just starting. I better get going before the things get dicey on the trail. Catch you tomorrow!
