That's One Solution

If you've been paying any attention at all, you know how annoying I find it when people write about "Dartmouth University."

Someone selling a piece of memorabilia on eBay has found a way around the, "Is it a college or a university" issue. Use both:

Gotta love Dartmouth College University, no?

Find the original listing HERE if you are interested, or happen to be related to Loren "Larry" Dilkes '39.

Dartmouth gets a quick mention in a Detroit News story about Michigan becoming the first Power 5 football school to bring in a female graduate assistant coach in Milan Bolden-Morris, a Georgetown basketball player. From the story (LINK):

The Ivy League has had two women work in football quality control. Callie Brownson became the first in 2018 at Dartmouth, and Heather Marini was hired as a QC coach in 2019 at Brown.

Actually, Dartmouth alone has had three female quality control coaches in Brownson, Jennifer King and now Mickey Grace. Brownson and King are now in the NFL.

EXTRA POINT
After taking Griff the Wonder Dog outside this morning we came back in the house, I poured him his regular kibble breakfast and within seconds his bowl was empty. I had to chuckle because that's so different than his dinner routine.

At night when we pour his food into the bowl he absolutely will not touch it until we tell him, "OK." Walk away without giving him the signal and he'll come find you and look up with those beautiful brown eyes pleading to hear those two letters.

In the morning? Pour his food and get out of the way.

He's trained us well.
