Unless you've been under a rock you know we are in the brave new world of NIL – Name, Image and Likeness. There aren't any $8 million quarterbacks in the Ivy League but athletes in the Ancient Eight (and headed to the Ancient Eight) are getting involved however they can. Our Chat, which bills itself as "A place where fans and followers gain exclusive access to their favorite creators and influencers," he signed up a number of Dartmouth football players. There may be more, but here's a selection of several I've come across:
Part 1 of 2 in our final Founding Partner announcements for the day starts with an Ivy League athlete in @d1_mal. Jamal is a WR @dartmouth who we are super pumped to be partnered with. Help us welcome him in! #ourchat @DartFootball @dartmouthsports pic.twitter.com/AS0k97qfBw

Country Roads, take us home! @wentz_maxwell is getting us started today. We're excited to have Maxwell and can't wait to see him suit up this fall. We're also waiting for @TudorsBiscuits to sponsor him at some point. 🤪 #ourchat @DartFootball pic.twitter.com/0PNWLCZHy0

EXTRA POINT
Yesterday in this space I shared a little bit about the china we will be using for our Easter dinner tomorrow. Today?
The well-loved plates are part of what grew into a 12-piece set of dinnerware that comes out more often than you might think, and like the Easter service, they have their own stories:
For the uninitiated, these are "Make-A-Plates" our kids drew up and colored 20 years ago this spring, and they are a window into their creators. That Certain Dartmouth '14, a park ranger who has been stationed at Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Everglades, Glacier Bay (Alaska) and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado, fittingly celebrated Martin Buser's Idiotarod championship with her 2002 plate. That Certain Penn State '16 showed his love for baseball and the Yankees in his '02 plate. It's hard to read but add up the numbers on the scoreboard in left field and the Bronx Bombers have defeated the Red Sox, 50-0.
