From a story this week in the University of Cincinnati News (LINK):
. . . Charles M. Rittgers couldn’t help but grow up around the law. There was also some football involved in his life, as he played quarterback for Lebanon High School and then collegiately for Dartmouth.
In fact, Charlie Rittgers '06 graduated from Dartmouth trailing only Jay Fiedler '94, and Brian Mann '02 in career passing yards for the Big Green with 4,472. He's sixth on that list now behind Dalyn Williams, Fiedler, Mann, Jack Heneghan '18 and Conner Kempe '12.

It certainly isn't one of the marquee games on the national stage, but when Syracuse visits UConn at 7 tonight on the CBS Sports Network it will be of local interest with Dartmouth alums on both teams.
Jake Guidone is the starting center for the Huskies while Isaiah Johnson is a backup corner for the Orange. Syracuse is a 22.5-point favorite.
Speaking of Guidone, check this out on the SB Nation site dedicated to his new team (LINK):
UConn’s offensive line has contributed to a large portion of the running game’s success, especially with the addition of Jake Guidone at center joining guard Christian Haynes to form a pair of maulers inside.

EXTRA POINT
I got home from practice late in the week and shortly after sitting down at the computer the phone rang. I picked up and a 20-something-ish male voice on the other end said, "You just called."
"Sorry, wrong number," I said.
"No, your number is right here on my phone," the voice said.
I told the fellow I was on a landline and no one had been in the house to use the phone all day, but he wasn't buying it and was clearly annoyed.
When I politely repeated that the call could not have come from our number he called me a liar, fired off a hyphenated expletive and hung up.
Nice guy.
