Here's how Dartmouth opponents fared this weekend:
Penn 34, Columbia 14
The Quakers (5-0, 2-0) vaulted out to a 24-0 halftime lead and stretched the margin to 34-0 in the third quarter on the way to their best start since the 2003 team went 10-0. The Lions (3-2, 0-2) outgained the Quakers, 428-399 yards, but suffered two interceptions and two lost fumbles while Penn did not turn the ball over. Aidan Sayin completed 29-of-45 passes for 299 yards with three touchdowns for Penn. Columbia starting QB Joe Green, who had been completing more than 70 percent of his passes coming in, was just 5-for-21 with two interceptions before being replaced by Caden Bell. Joshua Casilli caught 11 passes for 159 yards and one touchdown for Penn while JJ Jenkins had seven grabs for 162 yards for Columbia, and Bryson Canty four for 122 and a touchdown. Attendance at Franklin Field on Family Day was 5,127
Yale 27, Bucknell 9
Clinging to a five-point lead over the winless Bison midway through the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs got 14- and 21-yard touchdown runs by quarterback Nolan Grooms to finally lock up the win. It was a Grooms giveth and a Grooms taketh away game as the Yale QB ran for three touchdowns but also tossed four interceptions and lost a fumble. He finished with 209 yards passing and led Yale with 95 yards rushing. The Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0) outgained Bucknell (0-6, 0-2 Patriot League), 433 yards to 260 and doubled the visitors up in first downs, 24-12, in a game played before 3,995 at Yale Bowl.
Cornell 19, Lehigh 15
Trailing 15-10 in the third quarter, Cornell got a 31-yard interception return for a touchdown by Connor Henderson to take a 16-15 lead and a 41-yard field goal from Jackson Kennedy with 4:04 left to create a little breathing room. But it took a big defensive stop for Cornell to complete an undefeated nonconference schedule. Taking over at its own 25 after the field goal, Lehigh advanced to the Big Red 12 with 43 seconds remaining only to see Cornell defenders break up third- and fourth-down passes to preserve the win. Jameson Wang ran 10 yards for the only offensive touchdown scored by Cornell (3-2, 0-2), which has won games by three, four and six points. Lehigh (1-6, 1-1 Patriot) got 162 yards rushing from Gaige Garcia. Attendance was 5,138.
Harvard 41, Howard 25
Tied at 17 entering the third quarter, Harvard ran off 24 unanswered points to sew up the win before Howard tacked on a touchdown with 40 seconds remaining. Quarterback Charlie Dean threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns and Aidan Borguet added 119 yards and one touchdown rushing for the Crimson (4-1, 2-0). The Bison (1-5, 0-0 MEAC) lost at Yale a week ago, 34-26. Ledger Hatch caught two touchdown passes for Harvard and running back Shane McLaughlin ran for a couple of scores in a game played at the home field of Major League Soccer’s DC United. No attendance was listed.

Princeton 35, Brown 19
Trailing 28-10 midway through the fourth quarter, Brown (2-3, 0-2 Ivy League) used a field goal and a touchdown pass just over three minutes apart to close within nine points only to see the Tigers (5-0, 2-0) use a 49-yard touchdown run by Ryan Butler to slam the door. Brown quarterback Jake Wilcox threw 61 passes, completing 41 for 339 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Princeton’s Blake Stenstrom was an efficient 19-of-27 for 258 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Dylan Classi had nine catches for 169 yards and two scores for Princeton while Hayes Sutton caught 11 passes for 70 yards for Brown.
