Add to the list of Dartmouth recruits Taysire Williams, a 6-foot-6, 230 (or 6-5, 210/220 depending on the source) tight end from Jimtown High School and Elkhart, Ind. He Tweeted his intentions here:
I am beyond blessed to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Dartmouth College 🌲#Committed @dartmouth @DartmouthFTBL @BTeevens @coachirishodea @WendyLaurent55 @c_stoner16 @JimtownFootball @LandanYount pic.twitter.com/0evdLbQHdQ

Williams, now in the middle of his basketball season, was announced yesterday as a member of the Northern Indian Conference Football North-South Division All-Conference Team. His Twitter has Dartmouth as his first DI offer, with a second coming later from Valparaiso.
With Williams added to the list, the class now looks like this:
• Andrew Belles, 6-3, 200 LS, Houston HS/Germantown, Tenn.
• Joshua Johnson, 6-3, 230 DE, Statesboro HS/Statesboro, Ga.
• Harrison Keith, 6-1, 195 S, Choate/Fairfield, Conn.
• Max Livingston, 6-5, 277, OL, Grapevine HS/Colleyville, Texas
• Keoni Perkins, 6-3, 230, DE, South Grand Prairie HS/Gran Prairie, Texas
• Will Prince, 6-5, 260, OL, Avon Old Farms/West Hartford, Conn.
• Chris Roper, 5-11, 190, Adairsville/Cartersville, Ga.
• Taysire Williams, 6-6, 220 TE, Jimtown HS, Elkhart, Ind.
• Owen Zalc, K/P, 5-10, 155, Green Hope HS/Cary, N.C.
Don't be surprised if there isn't another addition before the early decision class goes final.

The local Valley News has a story about the Dartmouth football season with the headline, Big Green Go Off The Rails that suggest Dartmouth went into the finale "needing a win over Brown in the season finale to avoid the basement, seemingly undoing years of momentum." (LINK)
Green Alert Take: It's a tad premature to suggest one bad season might be the "undoing years of momentum." Consider that after the 2015 Ivy League champions slipped to 4-6 (1-6 Ivy) in 2016, Dartmouth bounced right back to go 8-2, 5-2 the next fall, and 9-1, 6-1 the three seasons after that.

Kicker Ryan Bloch is the Ivy League special teams player of the week for the second time this fall (LINK):

In addition to his three field, goals, Bloch had a perfectly placed chip-shot kickoff that Dartmouth recovered to set up a second-quarter field goal.
Named to the Ivy honor roll:
• Senior quarterback Nick Howard (56 yards and two touchdowns rushing, 101 yards passing on 6-of-8)
• Sophomore linebacker Braden Mullen (six tackles, three for a loss, two sacks)

The Analyst has announced its 25 finalists for the 2022 Jerry Rice Freshman Player of the Year Award and two Ivy League running backs made the cut.
• Yale's Joshua Pitsenberger (6-0, 205) carried 120 times for 667 yards (5.6 per) with seven touchdowns and one TD catch.
• Princeton's Ryan Butler (5-11, 225) carried 128 times for 501 yards (3.9 per) with 11 touchdowns and one TD catch.

EXTRA POINT
As noted on BGA Premium, Mrs. BGA and I finally got back to the movies last night. Although That Certain Dartmouth '14 had seen it and wasn't impressed, we went to see Ticket to Paradise, thinking how bad could a flick with George Clooney and Julia Roberts be? We certainly found out.
As we said walking out of the theater ahead of the other two people who sat through the flick, "That's two hours of our lives we'll never get back." (For the record, it was 1:44, but you get the idea.)
