The good news is that nine Dartmouth players have been named to one of the four Phil Steele All-Ivy League teams (LINK):
FIRST TEAM
Safety Quinten Arello, long snapper Josh GreeneSECOND TEAM
Defensive lineman Shane Cokes, linebacker Macklin Ayers, linebacker Joe Hefferanan, corner Robert CrockettFOURTH TEAM
Running back Zack Bair, corner Tyron Herring, offensive lineman Nicholas Schweitzgebel
The bad news? That's the fewest Steele honorees for any Ivy League team. Here's how many players were listed for each school:
Harvard 19
Penn 19
Yale 18
Princeton 17
Brown 15
Columbia 12
Cornell 12
Dartmouth 9
Princeton wide receiver Andrew Iosivas was chosen by Steele as the Ivy League offensive player of the year with Truman Jones the defensive player of the year.
Yale’s Nick Gargilo was the offensive lineman of the year and Yale running back Joshua Pitsenberger was the freshman of the year. Penn kick returner Julien Stokes was the special teams player of the year.

Columbia kicker Alex Felkins will be a Lion of a different variety – the Nittany type – after accepting a preferred walk-on offer at Penn State. Felkin – who has a career long of 53 yards – will compete for the starting job with scholarship kicker Sander Sahaydak, a redshirt freshman this year whose father Alexander played soccer at Brown in the early '90s.
Felkins made 36-of-54 field goal attempts for Columbia in his career, although he missed a critical 29-yarder on the team's final possession in a three-point loss to Dartmouth this fall.

Don't know what's funnier here. Ryan Fitzpatrick sneaks in a hilarious shot at Yale or how Baker Mayfield cracks up when he realizes what the former Harvard quarterback has done:
I’d like to report a homicide … pic.twitter.com/s0GhRm4zcu

Your Ivy League connections in the FCS playoffs are down to one. Samford and former Dartmouth defensive lineman Seth Simmer '20 fell to third-seeded North Dakota State last night in the Fargo Dome, 27-6. And fifth-seeded William & Mary took it on the chin against fourth-seeded Montana State, 55-7, as former Dartmouth quarterback-turned-W&M athletic director Brian Mann '02 looked on.
Undefeated Holy Cross is the lone Ivy proxy remaining and the Crusaders will have their hands full today at No. 1 South Dakota State. Watch the game at noon on ESPN and ESPN+.

EXTRA POINT
Looking for a way to make a small repair on a Christmas decoration, I stumbled across short videos by a person who goes by the handle Inventor 101. I think I learned something that will help. Either way, I found myself entranced watching a series of these 3-4-5 minute videos. It's Saturday, you've got the time, so check them out HERE. But be forewarned. You'll waste some time watching these things or trying to replicate them.
