UNH coach Rick Santos said preparing for an opponent that has yet to play a game presents challenges that aren’t there later in the season.“You have to go back and pick out some games with some like-minded opponents last year and kind of have your scouting reports and your tendencies and all that based off of that,” Santos said. “So from that standpoint, it gives them a little bit of an advantage because they can throw some wrinkles out there that we haven’t prepared for.“With Coach McCorkle taking over, maybe he’s just going to throw a bunch of different wrinkles at us that they haven’t shown in the last few years. So we’re going with preparation based on last year and things they’ve done in the past.”

From a story on the Flo Sports site, which will stream the game (LINK):
"First and foremost, just want to wish Buddy Teevens and his family all the best. I hope coach is healing up well. Wish we could be battling against him," UNH coach Rick Santos said. "Sending him love from down here in Durham."

WMUR TV has a mention of Ivy League teams having BT decals on their helmets in support of Dartmouth head coach Buddy Teevens:

For a few UNH highlights and interviews, here's the program's weekly presser:
Yeah, we played really good against Central Michigan. Ultimately didn't come up with a win, but if we think just because we played an FBS opponent that tough, that this is an automatic win, it certainly isn't. We have to take these guys extremely serious. They're well-coached, they're tough, they're physical. They play a ton of zone coverage. They make you march the ball down the field.
They're a team that doesn't beat themselves and you really have to be really efficient in the underneath passing game. I think it's going to be a game that's going to be won or lost in the trenches. So we need to do a phenomenal job up front, hopefully running the ball in particular if we do have a hurricane and the elements are going to be what it looks like right now. We've got to be dominant on the ground.

If you are heading to the game, parking can be a zoo. UNH has arranged a mobile app to reserve spots. Click HERE for parking and tailgating information.

Elsewhere, the self-proclaimed "Czar of the Playbook" has a short video HERE reminding us he will be doing weekly Ivy League previews.
Green Alert Take: While Dartmouth is playing New Hampshire and Yale is playing Holy Cross this week he would get some serious blowback from FCS fans around the country for saying of the Ivy League's scheduling, "They don't shy away from competition."

And finally this head-scratcher from the court (hardwood or eventually legal?) (LINK)
Fifteen members of the Dartmouth Men's Basketball team have filed a petition to unionize under the Service Employees International Union. The petition was signed and sent to the college yesterday, per the NLRB.

EXTRA POINT
I understand how hard it is these days to find help at places like movie theaters. But seriously, having the person who sells the tickets also handling concessions is absurd. Mrs. BGA and I went to a movie recently and had to wait in line while the poor fellow behind the counter was buttering popcorn, drawing Cokes and dealing with kids trying to choose from among the Whopper Malted Milk Balls, Nonpareils and Raisinets in the display cabinet. Pretty annoying when all you want is two tickets.
