Questions, Anyone?

With huge game at Harvard on the horizon, it's time for another installment of BGA Premium's Questions for Coach

If you'd like to send along a question for me to ask Coach Sammy McCorkle as he prepares the Big Green for Saturday's showdown with the Crimson, email BGA by clicking HERE. That will address an email to me with the subject line, QuestionsForCoach. (That subject line with no spaces is important.)

If you are not a BGA Subscriber but have a question, send it along anyway. If your question makes the cut I'll send along a link where you can access the story and see how Coach McCorkle answers it.

Dartmouth had three players named to the weekly Ivy League honor roll. Defensive backs Patrick Campbell and Cam Maddox were joined by placekicker Owen Zalc. (LINK)

Campbell's athletic interception was recognized by ESPN:

The Dartmouth sports information office has a story on running back Tevita Moimoi in which the Big Green quad-captain said (LINK):

"Every day, there's an opportunity to improve on something you didn't do as well yesterday. You can choose to dwell about something you messed up yesterday, or you can take that as a learning moment and apply that to today."

Meant to post this yesterday. Check out the Tulane helmet from Saturday's game:

Here's a blow-up if that's a little hard to see:

Headline from the Ithaca Voice:

Wave of Cornell football players announce transfer intentions
The Ivy League’s ban on graduate student athletes is hitting Cornell hard, with 11 players announcing they will use their remaining athletic eligibility as grad transfers elsewhere.

Green Alert Take: Fun to see old friend Chris Wilkerson's 5-3 Eastern Illinois team getting some notice. Wilk was at Dartmouth as an assistant and later associate head coach from 2005-12. He then went 51-27 as head coach at the University of Chicago and now is in his secondyear as head coach at his alma mater.

This is fun. Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman has a playful exchange with the writer who coaches his son's flag football team:

EXTRA POINT
As if we needed another reminder of a string of gray skies and the days growing shorter, the solar light above the entryway to our mudroom that turns on when it senses movement has been dark for a couple of days. It can handle one or the other – but not both.
