Why?

Because Dartmouth is playing at Harvard Saturday and if you follow the team you never get tired of watching the Hail Mary that saved the 2019 Ivy League championship for the Big Green.

 Here's the "all-22" view:

And watch the change in demeanor on the Harvard sideline:

As long as the subject du jour is video out of Harvard Stadium, how about a look at where Saturday's game will be played?

Dartmouth almost always draws well at Harvard Stadium, the outlier being the 2011 game that was played in the famed "Halloween nor-easter." Here are the attendance figures for Dartmouth-Harvard games at Harvard since 2001:
2001 – 12,324
2003 – 12,186
2005 – 12,661
2007 – 11,005
2009 – 8,107
2011 – 6,029
2013 – 13,470
2015 – 13,058
2017 – 11,143
2019 – 20,112
2021 –  14,110

For context, here are the attendance figures for Dartmouth-Harvard in Cambridge over 10-year intervals starting in 1961:

1961 – 32,500
1971 – 33,500
1981 – 25,000
1991 – 19,638

EXTRA POINT
There's one of those portable electronic message boards on the side of I-91 that for the past couple of weeks has been warning drivers that there will be a "Rolling Road Block" in a couple more weeks. Because I-91 comes straight down from Quebec there are occasional road blocks on the interstate checking to make sure everyone passing through these parts is legal and that being the case, I thought it kind of silly warning people ahead of time what was coming.

Once again, what a stupid I am.

Leave it to Trooper Steve to disabuse me of that idea. Here's the explanation good ol' Steve gave to a TV station about what a rolling road block actually is (and I was way, way off ;-).
