Well-Deserved

Ivy League championships of any kind have been ridiculously hard to come by in Hanover everywhere but on the football field. The Big Green football team won its third Ivy title in four seasons last fall and was honored for that achievement at Thompson Arena prior to Dartmouth hockey taking the ice:

Chris Adamson '97, an All-Ivy League offensive lineman and a member of Dartmouth's only 10-0 team, is co-founder of Gridiron Imports, whose mission is to "Create opportunities for American football players around the world."

In the photo below he met last fall with with three players who hail from from overseas : linebacker Nico Schwikal (Schönfeld, Germany), offensive lineman Konstantin Spörk (Pulheim, German) and offensive lineman Godson Ajoku (Lagos, Nigeria). They will be joined next year by offensive lineman Anthony Ndika (Oko Anala, Delta, Nigeria).

Adamson has also served as Director of Recruitment and Placement for Podyum Preps, which its website says "is centered around maximizing our student-athletes’ recruitment potential." Find Adamson's Podyum bio HERE.

Here's Adamson's bio from his senior season at Dartmouth:

Adamson's son, Grady, is a 6-foot-2, 207-pound quarterback in Oklahoma who has earned offers from BYU, Pitt, Boston College, UNLV, South Florida and, yes, Dartmouth among others. Find his 247Sports recruiting page HERE.

EXTRA POINT
Those of you who have been following along know that I don't have a cell phone and don't want one. It's not going to happen, but if I were going to get one, THIS might be the one. It is billed as being "designed to be used as little as possible." Per the website, "It will never have social media, clickbait news, email, an internet browser, or any other anxiety-inducing infinite feed."
