Sophomore defensive lineman Joe Onuwabhagbe is one of the athletes appearing in this video pulled together by Manchester, N.H. station WMUR after the ruling about Dartmouth men's basketball being allowed to vote on forming a union:
Lots of stories offering up all sorts of possible ramifications as a result of the ruling. In a story headlined Dartmouth Men’s Basketball Players Can Vote to Unionize. What Does That Mean for Everyone Else, The Chronicles of Education writes (LINK):
(I)f the Dartmouth players unionize, their union could decide to bargain for benefits that are allowed by the NCAA. Instead of seeking paychecks, they could, for example, ask for players to be compensated with full athletic scholarships — something the Ivy League currently does not permit. That scenario may, in a sense, allow players to further crack open the door to getting a piece of the revenue they help certain colleges earn, without blowing the door off its hinges

Today is the traditional National Signing Day. Although it has been eclipsed by the Early Signing Day in December, there will be at lest some celebrations today. This page used fill up with photos of players and their families dressed in Dartmouth gear to watch them "sign," but last year's call to send along pictures went pretty much unanswered.
Regardless, it's time to try again.
If you have photos or see photos on social media today, you can share them with BGA by CLICKING HERE. That will address an email to me with the subject line, Recruiting.

EXTRA POINT
Looking west at sunset during a recent hike on our nearby mountain I couldn't believe the Las Vegas Sphere was visible from Vermont. But it had to be the Sphere because it couldn't have been the sun this gray winter, right?
For the record, this is our fourth consecutive day with sunshine. I know that's a 2024 record because there weren't four days of sun in the entire month of January.
