Ever dream of a perfect NCAA basketball bracket? One fellow got the first 49 games correct some year ago. . . and then went in the tank. Per an Illinois professor who studies the NCAA Tournament, hitting on those 49 games to start is "somewhere around the same as winning the Powerball twice."

EXTRA POINT
As a Christmas gift, Mrs. BGA ordered jigsaw puzzles in the form of topographic maps for my sister in Texas, That Certain Dartmouth '14 out West, and me.
Puzzles like that are great when interstates, U.S. highways and even country road crisscross the area. I'm here to tell you when pretty much all you have to go on is contour lines, altitudes and the occasional little stream as was the case with our puzzle, it's a challenge.
We finished the puzzle yesterday and the dining room table will now be available again. Oh, and I don't think we'll be taking that puzzle apart and doing it again any time soon. ;-)
