Green Alert Take: I've said it before and I'll say it again. While that looks great and the longest FCS winning streak posting is factually accurate, it's misleading because of all the teams in the country that go on to the postseason, only one enters the next season with its streak intact.

I'd be curious to see a post listing the longest FCS win streaks in the country not including the postseason or games against FBS opponents.

Green Alert Take: I know what you are thinking. The post above the standings has Dartmouth with a five-game winning streak but the standings say only two. What gives? It's because these are the 2024 standings, not the 2023/24 standings. If they were, Dartmouth would have an 8-4 overall record and a 5-2 Ivy League mark, right?

While I wasn't looking the Ivy League football record book was updated. Find it HERE.

EXTRA POINT
Cruising around YouTube yesterday I saw a short commercial asking, "Is it time to take a break from online sports betting?" The commercial was aimed at a Vermont audience.

Online sports betting started in this state in January and just nine months later here we are . . .
