Harvard Video on Demand - Demanding

I was just scanning Harvard's requirements to view "streaming content." I can only hope Dartmouth's requirements are a little more universal. Regarding Harvard's: I don't understand a good deal of it but I'm confident of one thing. I couldn't receive it if I wanted to. Check out the information here. ... (By the way, Dartmouth men's hockey games have been webcast on an experimental basis using Quicktime. As a Mac devotee, that's fine by me ;-)

The odds are against it, but Jay Fiedler could have another Ivy League teammate on Tampa Bay. Brown grad Chas Gessner is making a run at a wide receiver slot. ...

More on the Harvard football captain removed from the roster and facing criminal charges can be found here.

Ever wonder what some of the people in the Deep South think about Ivy League football? The following is from a Mobile Press-Register Sound Off column, presumably after the Division I-AA label was voted out:
Let's get away from Alabama's national championships for a minute. These people are glad to see Princeton's and Yale's championships in the paper. That's not Division I football. What about Notre Dame and Oklahoma and USC or Michigan? These teams would crush these little-bitty football teams. Why won't the sports editor explain it to these newcomers to college football? These people are obviously newcomers to college football because if they think Yale's 27 national titles could measure up to even one national title from the Trojans or Crimson Tide or even Auburn, they're crazy. Auburn's or Alabama's scout team could crush both Yale and Princeton on any given day.
Finally, yet another thank you for your patience as we work the kinks out of the Green Alert signup process. Most folks seem to be able to subscribe with no problem. Some credit card subscribers are getting "timed out." The web designer who is helping me has his own separate business where he uses the same "sign up" software and it works fine. He'll be taking another look at the Green Alert setup Monday morning trying to figure out if there's a bug he needs to squish. In the meantime, the PayPal side seems to be working fine and there's always the check option ;-)
