New College President To Be Announced

LATE BREAKING REPORT: A source is reporting that DartBlog has the wrong name
From the Daily Dartmouth:

Pick for Dartmouth’s 17th president to be made public this afternoon


The College will announce Dartmouth’s 17th president today at an event held in Spaulding Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, according to sources close to the search process. The new president will replace outgoing College President James Wright on July 1.

The announcement was reportedly to be made earlier in the day, but has since been delayed.


DartBlog is reporting the president will be Jamshed (Jay) Bharucha, Provost of Tufts University. (2:25 p.m. update: The DartBlog report has now been removed.)
