A few days ago I posted a note about a stare-down I had with a mink. Today's it is this fellow, who was swallowing what I think was a mouse before I could get the camera out to take this snap. As I write this he's still out there, swiveling his head back and forth, keepings his eyes out for food or to make sure I don't move too quickly.

Hoot, Man
