After Cody Kater and Dwight Macon defected to Cincinnati and Toledo respectively, Central Michigan was in the market for another quarterback. Today, they landed one in Lancaster (PA) Catholic's Kyle Smith. To make it even more exciting, Smith is the Pennsylvania career record holder for passing yards and passing touchdowns...ahead of guys like Joe Montana, Dan Marino and Jim Kelly.
