Yale News

The Portal 31 Yale football blog has revealed the names of the two transfers who will join the Bulldog program next fall. First is Trevor Peterson, a tight end from Boise State who redshirted last fall. The other is Greg Carlsen, a punter who is transferring from Florida but was not on the Gator football team.

Peterson is said to have strongly considered Dartmouth before landing in New Haven. Skip down to the last message in this post to learn a little more about Peterson, who was recruited by Harvard as a high school senior.

Speaking of Yale, the Saturday New Haven Register has a story about Bulldog quarterback Brook Hart forgoing spring football to pitch for the Bulldogs. Although he's a junior pitching for the first time at the college level, the 6-foot-5 southpaw is 2-1 with a 3.45 ERA, 24 strikeouts and just six walks in 32 innings.
