And The Finalists Are . . .

Stay tuned.

The names of the two Bushnell finalists for Ivy League offensive player of the year and the names of the two defensive players of the year finalists will be released later today. The winners will be announced next Monday.

Does Dartmouth have any NFL draft prospects? Prospects or not, these Dartmouth players will always be able to say an Internet draft site listed them as such. There are also players listed from:
Brown
Columbia
Cornell (including several players whose last name is Cornell ;-)
Harvard
Penn
Princeton (including several players whose first name is Princeton ;-)
Yale

The Daily Princetonian has a story about Ivy League rookie of the year Chuck Dibilio.

Colgate has renewed the contract of head coach Dick Biddle, who is 124-61 in 16 seasons with the Raiders. Colgate went 5-6 this year while posting just the second losing record in Biddle's career. The Big Green and the Raiders concluded their contract this year and do not have any games scheduled against each other in the future.

We've all seen references to Dartmouth University, but this Rutgers-Newark note about an assistant basketball coach for the Big Green was a new one on me:
Chuck Bridge is an assistant coach at the University of Dartmouth

The Dartmouth Aires finished second Monday night in the national final of the NBC series, The Sing-Off. The Daily Dartmouth has a story.
