Football In June

Heading over to Durham this morning for the inaugural CHaD (Children's Hospital at Dartmouth) New Hampshire East-West High School All-Star Football Game at the University of New Hampshire.

Among those playing in the game is Dartmouth-bound Daniel Gorman, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver/kicker from Hanover. From a story on the New Hampshire Football Report:
When asked if anybody on his roster has been better than expected, (West coach Keith) Jones made the following comments: "Dan Gorman (Hanover) is pretty good. He catches everything thrown to him.
Gorman will also be playing for New Hampshire in the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game at Dartmouth's Memorial Field on Aug. 4.
In case you missed it, a Dartmouth release notes that the Big Green led the nation with 23 teams honored with Public Recognition Awards for their Academic Progress Rate.
