Look And Listen

Missed this earlier. It's an interesting sideline look (and listen) at the Dartmouth spring game.

Already the 27th-ranked amateur in the world, 2012 Dartmouth graduate Peter Williamson yesterday claimed the 106th Southern Amateur championship to go with the North & South Amateur he won earlier this summer. Williamson's latest win in a three-hole playoff with the 17th-ranked amateur in the world, brings with it an invitation to play in the PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando next March should he remain an amateur.

Williamson, a Hanover High School product who had tentative plans to turn pro this fall and attempt PGA Tour qualifying, will now have to decide whether to retain his amateur status to take advantage of the guaranteed berth in the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Williamson was named the New England Player of the Year on Friday. Coach Rich Parker was named the Coach of the Year and Dartmouth was named the New England Team of the Year. Find a story here.
