When I see videos like this one of quarterback Alex Tanney doing amazing throwing tricks with a football I find myself wondering just how many "takes" it took. Whatever, there's some fun stuff. Tanney, who set records at Monmouth College, a Division III school in Monmouth, Ill., has been in camp with the Kansas City Chiefs. Find a story here.

Yesterday's email brought a link from a fellow named Lorenzo Ciani, who happens to be an Italian film director. Here's part of what he wrote:
I made a documentary about American football; the story of an international tournament which was held in Florence (Italy) in July 2012.
