Everyone In The Poll

Another day, another poll.

Or polls.

Something called the FCS Football Network which projects the Ivy League this way:

1. Harvard
2. Penn
3. Cornell
4. Yale
5. Brown
6. Dartmouth
7. Columbia
8. Princeton

The newly released FCS Coaches Poll has Harvard at No. 22 in the nation. Cornell is at No. 41 and Penn at 42.
The Sports Network picks Game One foe Butler to finish seventh in the 10-team Pioneer Football League.
When I see videos like this one of quarterback Alex Tanney doing amazing throwing tricks with a football I find myself wondering just how many "takes" it took. Whatever, there's some fun stuff. Tanney, who set records at Monmouth College, a Division III school in Monmouth, Ill., has been in camp with the Kansas City Chiefs. Find a story here.

Yesterday's email brought a link from a fellow named Lorenzo Ciani, who happens to be an Italian film director. Here's part of what he wrote:

I made a documentary about American football; the story of an international tournament which was held in Florence (Italy) in July 2012.
Participants: Danish National, Team Eagles USA, Italian National and the "Guelfi Florence" American football team.
I hope you like it and you share it.
You can watch his 30-minute film on YouTube.
The Sacred Heart preview on BGA Premium today wraps up the 10-part series of looks at Dartmouth opponents. Later today on BGA: Football practice No. 3.
