Once again, Dartmouth will be having split practices with half the squad on the field from 8:15-9:30 and the other half from 9:30-10:45.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced today that more than 400 NFF High School Scholar-Athletes began their college football careers this month at campuses across the country.
Three of those scholar-athletes will be playing football at Dartmouth and a fourth will actually be playing lacrosse in Hanover. Honored were:

And finally, this is post No. 3,500 on the Green Alert blog if you can believe it. This blog began as a "loss leader" to tease people into subscribing to the premium site, but it long ago outlived that usefulness. More than a few people have suggested – strongly in some cases – that I put it behind the password but (sadly for me ;-) there's a significant disparity in the number of visitors to the blog and to the premium site. I just figure if I'm going to spend time at the keyboard pulling this thing together each morning it ought to reach the widest audience, so enjoy!
