Focus On Yale

The latest Teevens Teleteaser from the college's sports information office featuring Dartmouth coach Buddy Teevens looking back at Penn and ahead to Yale.
The Dartmouth preview includes a poll of six Ivy League newspapers that has all six picking the Big Green to win. The Dartmouth's choice: Dartmouth 31, Yale 16.
Following up on a story in last week's Manchester Union Leader, today's issue of The D has a feature about Everett, Mass., quarterback Jonathan DiBiaso, who expects to play for Dartmouth next fall after a prep year at Phillips Exeter Academy. Said DiBiaso of Dartmouth football and his ambition:
“I think it’s a program that is going to take off, and even though they are projected to finish sixth in the Ivy League, I think it’s a school where I can step in and be a contributor quickly.”
The Portal 31 blog reports that Yale tailback Mordecai Cargill has been cleared to play tomorrow against Dartmouth after missing last week's game.
In its quick picks, The Sports Network has Yale defeating Dartmouth. In other games TSN has:
Harvard over Cornell
Lehigh over Holy Cross
Rhode Island over Brown
William & Mary over Penn
Lafayette over Princeton
Also . . .
Butler over Valparaiso
Wagner over Sacred Heart
Holy Cross over Bucknell
The Sports Network also has capsule looks and score predictions for a few games including two featuring Ivy League teams. Those predictions look like this:

Harvard 42, Cornell 35
Lehigh 38, Columbia 9
The things you learn on the sidelines during practice! Found out this week that football equipment manager Steve Ward and head equipment manager Mike Bissaillon can call themselves national champions after winning the Athletic Equipment Managers' Association golf title at their convention in Cleveland last summer. The two also paired up to win the title in Jacksonville, Fla., in 2009.
