Dartmouth's game notes have been posted here.

Yes, game day it is.
Our local daily has a lengthy story today about Louisiana native Kevin Price, a 31-year-old former U.S. Army Ranger and father of two who happens to be a reserve running back for Dartmouth. A 5-foot-8, 200-pound senior, Price won't see action today, but could get a few carries in the jayvee game against Williams tomorrow.

From the story:
College football? It’s something Kevin Price had always wanted to experience, even if he wasn’t going to be a star. He nervously approached (Coach Buddy) Teevens in January with a request to walk onto the team. He struggled through spring practice while learning the plays and trying to master physical technique, but inspired a huge cheer when he blasted through the line for a short touchdown run during the spring game.
The story is not available online but The Dartmouth daily interviewed Price for a piece on veterans attending the school a couple of years ago, and an unwise remark by a political activist speaking to one of his classes led him to write this opinion column in The Dartmouth 2012.

I remember back when I worked at the paper writing a story about a football team that tried the same trick play twice. The first time it worked like magic. A little while later they reached into their pocket again and instead of pulling out a rabbit all they got was a handful of lint as the play was stopped for no gain.

Such apparently was the case with the BGA hike. It was a good idea last year and not so good the second time around. Despite what was supposed to be a gorgeous day the interest simply wasn't there. So enjoy a relaxing day around town and I'll see you at Memorial Field this evening.
