Listen Up

Looking for some good insights into tomorrow's Dartmouth home opener against Holy Cross?

Tune in WTSL radio (94.3 FM and 1400 AM) today at 5:30 p.m. to hear thoughts from longtime Dartmouth football analyst Wayne Young, a member of the legendary 1970 Big Green team and captain of the '71 team. Young appears on Brett Franklin Show throughout the season at 5:30 on Fridays before home games, and at the same time on Thursdays before away games.

The show is carried live here and can be found at the “Listen Live” button.

Brett Franklin covers Upper Valley sports weekdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. from the West Lebanon studios of WTSL.
The Dartmouth daily has a pretty thorough preview of Saturday night's home opener against Holy Cross.
An oddity from the Ivy League football notes this week:
Dartmouth has won seven straight on the road, tied for the second-longest active streak in FCS behind North Dakota State’s 10-straight road wins, but has lost its last four at home.
Did you realize Dartmouth opponents Holy Cross and Bucknell have their first classes of scholarship freshmen? BGA Premium took a look last night at what scholarships have meant to fellow Patriot League member Fordham (which started offering them when this year's seniors were freshmen and is off to a 4-0 start that features wins over Temple and Villanova), and what that could mean to the Patriot League-Ivy League relationship.

Tonight on BGA: The Fearful Forecast and a Holy Cross preview.
The Sports Network has posted capsule looks at select games across the nation including Brown at Harvard (TSN goes with Harvard 31, Brown 27) and Penn-Villanova (Nova 31, Penn 17).
The Harvard Crimson reflects on Tim Murphy's 20 years as head coach at the school.
