And Another?

Possibly heading Dartmouth's way according to Twitter reports is Eric Meile, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound outside linebacker at traditional New Jersey powerhouse Don Bosco Prep:

Find Meile's four-game senior highlights here.
New Jersey's Shore Network has a brief story about Matawan's Nick Tomkins choosing Dartmouth. The piece says the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Tomkins has 61 tackles, seven sacks and six tackles for a loss (that's a pretty good trick, by the way), an interception and a fumble recovery along with seven catches for 50 yards and one TD. He is slated to play defensive end.
For a story I freelanced on tight end Cole Marcoux for the Dartmouth football program series, click here. (Editor's Note: Having watched everything Cole had been through, this was a story I really hoped I would have a chance to write.)
WMUR TV has a story – not a video report – on its website about U.S. Army Ranger-turned-Dartmouth football player Kevin Price. If there's a video, I can't find it.
Dartmouth's game notes for Saturday's finale against Princeton can be found here.

Princeton's game notes can be found here.
Saturday's game pits the only two coaches ever to play on Ivy League championship teams and then coach the team to an Ivy League title. Dartmouth's Buddy Teevens quarterbacked the Big Green to the 1978 championship and coached the 1990 and '91 Ivy League winners. Princeton's Bob Surace '90 played on the '89 Tiger championship team and guided the squad to at least a share of this year's title.
For a story about how Surace stayed the course with Princeton, and Princeton stayed the course with Surace after a couple of 1-9 seasons, check out a column by old friend TigerBlog.
The Sports Network picks Princeton to defeat Dartmouth Saturday. The rest of the TSN picks:
Harvard over Yale
Penn over Cornell
Brown over Columbia
The Massey Ratings have Princeton with a 78 percent chance of beating Dartmouth and the Tigers winning, 37-28. Massey also has:
Harvard 69 percent chance of beating Yale (Harvard 35-28)
Penn 87 percent chance of beating Cornell (Penn 35-20)
Brown 98 percent chance of beating Columbia (Brown 31-6)

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reprises a story by Jack DeGange – former Dartmouth Sports Information Director, author of the book over there on the right, unofficial Dartmouth sports historian and BGA sounding board of sorts – about Ivy League football and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Check out For a day, 'The Game' didn't matter here.
It's getting uglier at Columbia where a letter signed by two Columbia Athletics Hall of Fame members and other former players is calling for a football coaching change. Check out the Columbia Spectator for the letter and yesterday's opinion piece by Columbia President Lee Bollinger supporting the current coaching regime.

There was also a column in the Spec.
Sorry for the tease, but do NOT miss BGA Premium tonight ;-)
