Surprising Dartmouth Football Trivia

The guess here is you could win a lot of bets with this one. ;-)

Which Ivy League opponent has the longest current streak of games against Dartmouth without being shut out?

Here's the most recent Dartmouth shutout of each Ivy team in order from most recent to oldest:
2013 Columbia 56-0
2010 Princeton 31-0
1990 Brown 29-0
1990 Harvard 17-0
1989 Penn 24-0
1977 Yale 3-0
1976 Cornell 35-0
Told you it was a stunner!
A couple of non-football notes . . .

Dartmouth's Abbey D'Agostino is featured in this week's Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd. As more than one person has said – including That Former Teammate – it kind of undersells what D'Agostino has accomplished for her to simply be in Faces. Check out her bio page on the Dartmouth website. Given the crusade SI occasionally goes on about the lack of true student-athletes, they'd be hard-pressed to find one much better than D'Agostino.
And last night the Dartmouth men's ice hockey team drilled defending national champion Yale, 4-1, in New Haven. After an 0-8 start Dartmouth now has won consecutive games against Harvard and Yale. The Bulldogs, by the way, are still a force. They came into the game 6-2-2.
