With the NFL Draft out of the way, College Football Performance Awards has kicked off the s-l-o-w season for college news with the release of its Defensive Line Watch List. The only player on the list that Dartmouth will see this year is Harvard's Zach Hodges, who actually won the award last year.

Green Alert Take: The CFPA makes it really hard for anyone other than the schools to promote their lists. As was the case last year, if the watch lists are posted on their website, I can't find them. The only way I found out who was named was to find one player on the list and Google around until I found others who were named, hoping one school posted the entire list. In this instance I found it on the North Dakota State site.
The AP has a nice story about Caraun Reid, the Detroit Lions' draft pick out of Princeton.
Went to see Million Dollar Arm with Mrs. BGA last night over in Lebanon. We got there a little early because the reviews were so good and we wanted to make sure we didn't get caught up in a line buying tickets. Turns out we were the only people in the theater for most of the movie. An older man popped in late and left a few times but I don't think he was there at the end. Thumb's up for the flick.
