Catching Up With . . .

Apparently it's recent alumni news day ;-)

First, Garrett Waggoner's agent hasn't had a whole lot to work with in his first two games with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers but he's doing what he can to get the former Dartmouth safety noticed. Here are quick clips from each game.

First, Waggoner '13 rocks a returner in the opener:

Last week he lost his helmet and unleashed a waterfall of hair making a tackle that was lost to a penalty:

Regular readers of this site know that I lament the end of the printed media guides. I have a bookshelf lined with them and go back to them all the time. I'm just not sure as technologies and servers and sports information directors change that we'll always be able to find older material on the web. In fact, I'm sure we won't.

One positive about the move to the Internet, though, has been the ability to update bios that would remain static if they were printed. Case in point: The Dartmouth website has an update on graduated quarterback Alex Park's bio. Short of that, we'd have no way of knowing this, taken from his bio (LINK):
Finished career as one of 18 Big Green quarterbacks with 2,000 or more passing yards ... set a Dartmouth career record by completing 62.2 percent of his passes.
Another grad whose bio was updated after graduation is former safety Steve Dazzo (LINK).
As a wide receiver and outfielder at Dartmouth, Bo Patterson '15 knows all about laces on footballs and baseballs. Now he's putting them on T-shirts.

Huh?

According to Twitter, Patterson has developed this design and is selling the shirts online. Or at least he will if he gets eight more orders in the next 2 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes and 30 seconds as I write this. (Less as you read it ;-)

Help him get the shirts printed by ordering one HERE.
And finally . . .

Thanks to returning subscribers to BGA Premium as well as those signing up for the first time. Remember, NEW subscribers need to fill out the form on THIS PAGE to have full access to the site. Once that form blinks on my screen I'll go in and activate the account to give access both to coverage of spring football (and earlier) as well as all the coverage of the 2015 season.
