Harvard 45, Georgetown 0
Ho hum. Harvard had 249 yards passing and 245 yards rushing while holding Georgetown to 222 total yards. The Crimson (3-0) have won 17 consecutive games. Georgetown falls to 2-3.
Yale 27, Lehigh 12
Sophomore tailback Deshawn Salter exploded for 233 yards and two touchdowns to lead Yale (3-0). Salter had 51 rushing yards in the Bulldogs' first two games combined. Lehigh, which blew out Penn, 42-21, and then lost at Yale, 52-26, is now 2-3. The game sets up a match of unbeaten in Hanover for Homecoming Saturday this week.
Brown 41, URI 31
Quarterback Marcus Fuller completed 41-of-58 passes for 438 yards and four touchdowns and led drives of 89 and 91 yards in a 21-7 fourth quarter that lifted the Bears (1-2) to the win in the 100th Governor's Cup. Rhode Island is 0-5.
Colgate 28, Cornell 21
The Big Red fought back from a 28-7 deficit to pull within a touchdown and had a first down at the Colgate 10 before four incomplete passes doomed their cause. Luke Hagy ran for 121 yards on just 11 carries for Cornell (0-3), which has lost games by 5, 5 and 7 points this fall. Colgate, which dropped its first two games at Navy and against UNH before losing a one-point decision to Yale is now 2-3.
Duquesne 27, Central Connecticut 10
The Dukes piled up 524 yards of offense and almost 16 minutes in extra possession time in an easy win over the Blue Devils (1-4), whose only wins against a DII team. Duquesne is 3-2.
Princeton defeated Columbia Friday night, 10-5, and Sacred Heart had the week off.
