Following the drama at the end of regulation neither team score in the first OT, with Dartmouth losing a chance to end the game with a missed 34-yard field goal.
Kirby Schoenthaler caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in the top of the second overtime but Penn answered with a 27-yard scoring run. The Quakers got a 38-yard field goal in the top half of the next OT and before Riley Lyons kept Dartmouth in it with a 40-yarder in the bottom half.
The Big Green came up empty in the top of the fourth OT after which Penn ended the 3-hour, 49-minute marathon with a 20-yard touchdown run on a third-and-five play.
