Speaking of concussions and football, check out The TopSpin 360, a "goofy-looking gadget" for  building neck strength and thereby minimizing concussions. There's a story and video HERE.
In news around Dartmouth's 2016 opponents, the Holy Cross offense should be loaded next fall, led by dual-threat senior quarterback Peter Pujals, a starters since his freshman year. From a STATS look at the entire Patriot League:
The Crusaders feature two of the more underrated players in the FCS in dual-threat quarterback Peter Pujals and wide receiver Brendan Flaherty. With only one starter gone from their offense, the Crusaders will be explosive again. Conversely, the defense played well last season, but it has lost five starters.
A note from the story:
The Crusaders will play only four times at home because the regular season leads up to a Nov. 12 finale at Yankee Stadium against Fordham.
Dartmouth plays at  Holy Cross on Sept. 24. A week earlier the Big Green plays host to New Hampshire. While it's always advantageous to play at home, it would have been fun (for the fans and press at least ;-) to visit Durham, where the Wildcats will be opening their new stadium this fall. The school just posted a video look at where the project stands right now:

Here's a glimpse at how it will look when finished:
