Bears Make Williams Signing Official

From the Chicago Sun Times:
The Bears swapped out quarterbacks at the bottom of their depth chart Thursday, signing undrafted free agent Dalyn Williams from Dartmouth and waiving Matt Blanchard.
And the Chicago Tribune:
Williams arrived in time to sign his contract and participate in Thursday’s OTA, the final of the offseason.
And, noting the former Dartmouth quarterback had tried out with the Bears last month, the Trib wrote . . .
. . . (H)e obviously showed enough with the mix of rookies in May to be worthy of a call back and if he does well next week, he could very well head to training camp.
Blanchard, who Williams replaced, had been on practice squads or signed contracts with the Panthers, Packers, Browns and Colts in addition to the Bears.
