One More Time

Two-time Dartmouth assistant coach Kevin Kelly has been named defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Bryant University in Rhode Island. (LINK)

Kelly, who coached at Dartmouth in 1991 and 1995, was head coach at Georgetown from 2006-2013, hitting a high-water mark of 8-3 in 2011.

He has been an assistant at Southern Connecticut State, Syracuse, Bowdoin, Northeastern, Tulane, Marshall, Syracuse again, Marshall again, Navy and finally at Ball State under onetime Dartmouth assistant Pete Lembo.

Kelly returns to the college ranks from his role as head football coach and associate athletic director at Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania. Bryant is coached by James Perry, most recently the innovative offensive coordinator at Princeton and himself a former Dartmouth assistant.
With National Signing Day a week away FBS schools are scrambling to fill their recruiting classes and the Ivy League can suffer from the domino effect.

The Oklahoman has a story under the headline, OSU football: Cowboys' 'B-list' of prospects a necessity when decommitments strike. Among the "B-listers" they are looking at to potentially fill the gaps, according to the story:
Gray Davis — Dallas, Texas (Parish Episcopal School): A 6-5, 303-pound prospect who has yet to receive an OSU scholarship offer, but is followed by Cowboy offensive line coach Greg Adkins on Twitter. Davis currently has four Ivy League offers (Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth and Yale).

Neighbors of Dartmouth's proposed indoor practice facility aren't going down without a fight. A story in the Valley News includes the Curious Case of the Missing Audio Tape. I kid you not. Find the story HERE.
