Duly Noted

Searching the web for information to expand the bios of incoming freshman football players turned up a video of 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive tackle defensive tackle Miles Sanders singing with the Parkway Central High School (Missouri) chorus. Here's what Big Green coach Buddy Teevens had to say about him:
"One of the more fascinating guys we have. A big defensive tackle who is an accomplished musician. He had a variety of Ivy opportunities. A tough, physical kid who can run well at 290 pounds. He’s a tough kid."

It was 35 degrees heading out with Griff the Wonder Dog (and house guest Nala, his friend) this morning. There's apparently a chance for a little snow at higher elevations. For as chilly as the morning was, it also was beautiful as this snap from the shoulder of Moose Mountain shows.
