Weekend Wrap

WCAX-TV out of Burlington, Vt., had a camera at Dartmouth's Green-White game.
Curious who signed free agent contracts with NFL teams in addition to Dartmouth's Flo Orimolade (Ram's link) and Charlie Miller (Jaguars signing link)? Find a pretty thorough list HERE.

Among those signing was Andrew Lauderdale, the New Hampshire offensive tackle who joined Orimolade and Miller at Dartmouth's Pro Day and earned a contract from the Saints.

Oops. Maybe they should stick with Flo ;-)
Green Alert Take: For as much as NFL hopefuls want to be drafted a lot of experts believe that in many cases it is better to be an undrafted free agent than to be chosen in the last round or two. As an undrafted player you and your agent are able to study rosters and draft picks and then choose the offer from the team that will afford you the best chance to stick.
An Orlando Sentinel story about Joe Moglia helping lead Coastal Carolina into the Sun Belt Conference opens with his housing arrangements in his last college coaching position at Dartmouth University. Find the story about the onetime Big Green assistant-turned business mogul-turned successful head coach HERE.
Dartmouth grad (and 2016 major league ERA leader) Kyle Hendricks allowed two runs on just three hits on his return to New England last night but wasn't involved in the decision as his Chicago Cubs fell to the Boston Red Sox, 6-2, in a nationally televised game from Fenway Park. (LINK)

On this May Day here's a picture That Certain Dartmouth '14 shared last night from her drive to work at Yellowstone National Park. She said she saw three bears during her short drive.
