One More Week

With the Harvard preseason encounter in the books (or not in the books ;-) Dartmouth has its final weekend without football until the opener Saturday at Stetson.

The Big Green's three nonconference opponents will each play their second game this week.

Stetson visits Marist in a Pioneer Football League game today at 1 p.m. The Hatters are 8.5-point underdogs according to the wise guys. Marist, you might remember, was crushed by Bucknell last week, 45-6.

Speaking of Bucknell, Week 2 Dartmouth opponent Holy Cross takes on the Bison today at noon in Lewisburg, Pa. The Crusaders, who pushed UConn to the limit in a 27-20 loss last week, are favored by two points.

The final game of interest to Dartmouth fans sees Sacred Heart visiting Lafayette tonight at 6. The Pioneers, who opened the season with a 42-3 walkover against Stetson, are favored by 5.5 points.
A reminder that Dartmouth is practicing tonight both to get used to the lights and to give the assistant coaches time to get back in town. Check out BGA Premium late tonight to learn more. And yeah, it will be late because of the night session.
