From QB To AD?

Former record-setting Dartmouth quarterback Brian Mann '02 is looking like a potential future athletic Ivy League or Patriot League athletic director with his promotion to the role of Senior Associate AD/Chief Development Officer for Rice University Athletics.

A friend from afar shared a link to a Rice press release that explains:
Mann will lead all athletic development initiatives, including major gift and annual giving programs as well as leading the Owl Club staff. As a member of the Rice Athletics senior leadership, he will work closely with the University development leadership team to set strategy for the overall direction of the athletics development efforts in conjunction with the University’s V2C2 Campaign.
From the No Surprise Here Department comes this from STATS, the bible of the FCS (LINK):
(John) Lovett, who accounted for 31 touchdowns when Princeton won a share of the 2016 Ivy title, is expected to be back as the No. 1 quarterback this fall. To retain his final season of eligibility, he is out of school this semester under league rules, and won't participate in Princeton's spring practices which begin Tuesday.
