Sunday Stuff

A quick Dartmouth pro football review from the weekend . . .

Ryder Stone had three carries for six yards and one kickoff return for 18 yards in the Montreal Alouettes' 25-22 win over the Toronto Argonauts.

Flo Orimolade posted three special teams tackles in the Calgary Stampeders' 39-26 win over Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

From Niners Nation:
(Coach Kyle) Shanahan said he hopes to get fourth string QB Jack Heneghan some work as well.
Several posts note that the Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed cornerback Charlie Miller.
The Worcester Telegram has a story in anticipation of the Holy Cross opener that notes five quarterbacks have been taking snaps. From the piece about Dartmouth's Week Two opponent:
“They all have different skill sets,” (coach Bob) Chesney said. “We feel they are all capable enough. We’re thinking within a skill set that we think we will need to employ to try to beat Colgate. That’s what we have to figure out; it’s not just who is the best quarterback. It’s, ‘Who is the best quarterback for that game plan that week?’ ”
There are still 20 days until Dartmouth opens against Georgetown but the college football season has already begun. Scores from what is called "Week Zero:"

UMass 63, Duquesne 15
Rice 31, Prairie View 28
Hawaii 43, Colorado State 34
